_______Hi, I'm, Geoff Latham,
I'm a musician, a photographer, an adventurer, and probably as close to
a true "Renaissance Man" as one can be in rural Mississippi. I
matriculated from Delta State
University in 2004, where I received a Bachelor's degree in Art
Education. I have been a teacher of the fine and performing arts for
four years with experience in both the Tennessee and Mississippi public
education systems. I am a very tech savvy person with a pronounced
ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments. I am an
advanced organizer and I work well with others. My background includes
experience in journalism, media writing, photography, multimedia and
audiovisual production, management of employees, and in my most recent
position, classroom instruction of middle/high school learners in the
visual arts and general music. I also have experience in public
speaking, photography, as well as musical and theatrical performance. My hobbies include
cooking, drawing, painting, photography, web page design, role playing
games, music and movies.
_______I'm pretty well known for my sense of
humor and am regarded by many as a hearty, robust, cultured, and easy
going gentleman. I am well tactful, well mannered, well read, and have
a definitive taste for refinement. Contrastingly, I also enjoy the more
rustic and earthy pleasures that life has to offer. I have a deep
appreciation for the simple things in life and desire a lifestyle that
is uncomplicated. I have a vivid and active imagination and enjoy
activities that foster creativity and enlightenment. I relish in the
pursuit of new experiences, so long as they are unique and esoteric. To
sum up:
"I am dichotomy.
I am the surreal. I am beauty in the banal. I am a man of extremes."
"I am a Fellow of infinite jest and constant sorrow."
"I am one of a kind, a social predator, a friend, a lover, a leader,
and a slave."
"...One of God's own prototypes. Some
kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production.
Too weird to live, and too rare to die." - Raoul Duke
