Who is Geoff Latham?

Biographical Information:

____________I was born in Grenada, MS in 1976 to Mike and Barbara Latham. I lived in Texas for three years as a child and returned to Mississippi, where I attended Grenada Public School until the 9th grade when my family moved to Cleveland, MS. I attended Cleveland High School and was a member of the CHS Band as well as other student organizations.  I was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland and participated in the youth group, “Servant Heart” vocal ensemble, and the FBC Media Ministry. I attended Delta State University and was employed as the coordinator of media support services before graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Art Education. I have taught for several years in the public schools of Mississippi and Tennessee.

____________I am 36 years old and a published writer, photographer, artist, musician, educator, and a renowned jack of all trades. I enjoy the bohemian side of life and have a passion for beauty, imagination, and the creative spirit. On May 26, 2012, I married my wife, Leigh. She means the world to me and in so many ways complements my life. We live together in a cozy little house with a demented cat named, Saffron, who hates everyone but us. In the future I'd like to pursue a master’s degree and possibly a PhD, to teach at a small university, and to explore writing for more than just my own enjoyment.___
